    Hello Prius owners.

We purchased a 2011 Prius ll one month ago.
    Great car!!

We are averaging 53.4 mpg for the first 2200 miles. Per hand calc. It is a whole new driving experience.

    :)

Our Canadian Touring package comes with the lower/wider 17" rims. They look cool, but have some impact on mileage I'm sure: with Trip A reset we went for an extended drive to downtown last night, basically ideal driving conditions: maybe 70% freeway, but with speed limits reduced due to construction.

There was no congestion, and I tried to maximize mileage: abiding by limits, anticipating, slipping into EV when possible, and I just managed to match your overall 53.4 mpg*. Not bad!

We've had ours for just over 5 months now.

(* in-dash was saying 4.1 liters/100km, which from past experience translates to around 4.4 calc'd, which converts to 53.46 mpg)
