Took delivery on Feb. 3 2006.

    2006 Red package 6.

Saw I was getting low on fuel, figured I could go a bit further.

Doing about 65 on the interstate, lots of red lights on the dash came on.

I wondered What? Oh yea GAS!!! lol

I was able to keep up with traffic on the battery. Only had to go a mile or so to the exit.

But... when I filled her up it took 12.74 gallons in a 11 gallon tank??? I wondered What?

I have about 8500 miles now and an average of 46 mpg or so, varies from low 40s to low 60s.

Seems that I am having trouble getting a consistantly full tank.

    Love the car.

Can't explain how you got so much gas in the car. Maybe the pump at the gas station is off (maybe on purpose, although I would never accuse the gas companies of something like that

I am sure you have read here that it can really damage the car to run on battery alone and there is no way that the hybrid battery could keep the car going at 65 miles an hour so if you kept up with traffic the ICE must still have been running.

Take care of that car and it will take car of you!
