Outside Temperature display

Discussion in 'Gen 2 Prius Main Forum' started by Middle_Age_Moment, Feb 20, 2004.

  1. I've asked this before but can't locate the info. So, again I ask: Can the outside temperature display be tweeked up or down by a tech?
My outside temp display is consistently 4 degrees higher than actual.

Don't think so. All they can do is install a new sensor.

Yes, there's an option to adjust by +/- 2 degrees celcius.

You need a Toyota dealership with a scantool to do the change.

If the adjustment is +/- 2 C, that would about adjust for a 4 degreee Farenheit variance. Hopefully, the dealer hadn't already adjusted it.
