I have a 2007 Prius with 170k miles. I purchased it around 3 years ago with 121k miles. Previous owner had Toyota replace hybrid battery at 116k miles. My wife was driving around town this morning after vehicle had been parked outside in 95 degree heat. Triangle, check engine and car with exclamation point lights all came on while she was driving home. Ran by AutoZone and only code is P0A93. I know next to nothing about cars and just started looking at this prius chat. Would it appear I need a new inverter water pump? Or could there be more issues? Should I have towed to Toyota dealer or safe to drive 15 miles or so to dealer? Thanks!!

sounds like it. put the car in ready, and open the inverter reservoir cap to see if there is any fluid movement.

you can drive it at low speed to the dealer.

Most mechanics can do this repair, it's quite a common failure for the Prius. If you bring it to the dealer, prepare to pay $500+ for the work. An independent mechanic should charge less
