i am going on vacation for two weeks, and parking the prius at the airport.
will there be any problems with the battery not maintaining a charge and starting right away on my return?
    thanks- jj

Only thing I did was turn off the SKS Switch at the bottom of the dashboard. No problem starting on return.

IF you have SKS, the switch for it is under the steering wheel at the bottom of the dash. 'Out' is ON, I believe, though I'd have to go out and check to be sure. Two weeks, even if left on, shouldn't be a problem. DO switch off your headlights and make sure all interior lights are off.

I agree with Bill. I've left my Prius parked (with SKS on) for two weeks many times at the airport with no problems.

Hell, I only drive the gas car once or twice a month max. I used to be really good at switching off SKS, now I don't even bother with that. No problems yet... knock on wood.

I have left it for six weeks and no problems at all - there was heaps of charge in both batteries.

I'm happy to report that Fiona was just fine after sitting (with SKS off) for 3 weeks, being driven about 10 miles & then sitting another 3 weeks in my garage. I am driving again after my knee surgery & it feels great to be back in a Prius! One tire was low, however. Will have to watch for a slow leak, perhaps? Never had tire pressure issues before this layoff.
