Dealer had two on lot for sale but one had way more than I wanted and the other, not enough.

Made "Preference Order" with $500 deposit. Wanted side curtain air bags, alarm system, and leather seats. Alarm and seats will be added at the port.

Dealer though that we could have the car by the end of January. I told them that I did not want to take delivery until '06 in order to take credit of the new tax changes.

I'll add additional updates as I get them.

 

Update #1 - December 27, 2005

I received a call from the dealership today saying that my car should be at the port in 15 days. Rapid mental calculation put that at about Friday, January, 13th.

They also said that they would be able to provide me with the VIN number in about a week or so.

 

Should be Package #1. I was going off the title of the Prius eBrochure (image attached).

 

Update #2 - January 11, 2006

I am now a proud owner of a Black 2006 Prius with grey leather interior.

It arrived at the dealership yesterday as the lone Prius on the truck and we received a call today after it was prepped.
