PAUSE button

    Why do we not have a PAUSE button?

    Currently, if someone calls me I either:
    1) POWER OFF
    2) Lower the volume

    My Scion TC has the same problem...

    edit: Deleted "MUTE" option, no such thing here.

    I use the Power button on the console. Since it comes back on so quickly, I think of it as a Mute/Pause button (doesn't pause radio so well). Lowering the volume is annoying since it takes longer to go up and down.

    What's the mute button you speak of? Is using the power button worse than a pause for any reason? Music resumes about 1/2 sec in my Prius.

    The POWER button does work pretty fast, but I wish i had a PAUSE button because i don't want the CD player to be constantly going on and off.

    I just remembered that the Prius doesn't have a MUTE button; the TC has it.
