Our neighbor's male peacock comes over, walks around and around my blue Pruis. I have to chase him away. Anyone else have this problem? How do I keep him away? I don't want him pecking at my car causing chipped paint!

I did use a BB gun to no avail. Don't want to kill him......he is beautiful and the neighbors don't shoot my guineas.

Paint ball gun? Use matching colors if you like or experiment. :) Kidding MsLiz!

Have you discussed this with your neighbor? A good neighbor wouldn't want their bird to damage your property. Hopefully a peaceful solution is possible.

Yes, the Prius peacock pecking problem is a real peccadillo that has been widely discussed in many Prius forums. And you certainly posted in the right one because peacock pecking can be a real maintenance issue for sure if it gets out of hand. All I can say is to try a few Google searches and you should hit on your answer in short order. Good luck with your bird.

Yep, very common problem around here too Diane. :)

My theory is that it's due to the similarity of the Prius shape to that of a peahen.

I'm hoping breeding season will be over soon and he will stop seeing my car as competition.
