I was thinking last night at work and wondering how to recover more energy from the breaking system.
Then a light bulb moment happened.
I wonder what would happen if there were Peltier Cooler's on the front disk brakes?
Using the heat from the disc Brakes then transfer through the peltier cooler to just atmosphere air thus creating electricity.
I dont know how much electrical energy would be created but seems like an interesting concept at least.
Maybe get 0.01% more rage out of batteries. Lol :) Maybe more?

I watch the CHG gauge on display. I mostly stay out of friction brakes when driving.

Which points to the fatal flaw in this otherwise brilliant thought..................
In order to capture heat from the brake components, they actually have to be in use to GET hot. :)

Seems like a good idea, but in a car which the stock pads last for more than 100k, i dont think it will be worth while.
