I wanted to change the bulbs in the ceiling center console.. my fingers keep slipping off them .. I thought they were wedge type and just pushed in .... am I wrong? nothing easy any more like in the old days (fiftys)

Yeah, you just pull them out and push the new ones in. No twisting or anything, they are wedge.

Yep, they're wedge (168/194) and just pull straight out. Maybe use a thimble to help?

thanks guys .. i again tried and persevered at it by sqeezing and pulling and finally one came out . I replaced it with a Ten Led one and WOW is it bright.. If you buy led ones I found out that they only work if inserted the right way.. so if it dosn't light up just remove and turn it 180 degrees and replace it
