PHEV Tax Credits?

    Anyone know if this is a go? Not sure about the language in the 700 Billion bail out, but something for PHEV was included there.

    also, I have seen at least one article from Green Car Congress stating that MN was passing a bill to provide grants with up to 1/3 the cost of a PHEV conversion. Anyone know more about that? I will see about contacting my state legislatures for this one....

    Yes, the credit survived subject to performance standards, much like the hybrid credit. I posted a link in another thread.

    I was told by my accountant that a federal tax credit for the Prius expired when I did taxes last year so why all the talk about filing tax credits? Must by my accountant is wrong.

    The question was about a different set of credits, for plug-in hybrids. If I read correctly, they were based on KWH capacity of the batteries.

    Regarding credits for the standard Prius, the federal credits did expire but many states still offer credits.
