Picking up my white 2011 tomorrow

    Hey all after lurking around here for a while I'm finally getting one. 2011 with 27k Prius II. Now I know these are low maintenance cars and I plan on getting the oil changed right away. Most of my cars go to Walmart since its close will they have the correct fluids for the Prius ?

    Also is there anything else I need to do or change before hitting the road.

    Thx can't wait to double my mpgs

    congrats. you need 0-20 mobil 1 (easier in the 5qt jug). at some wallys you need to special order it.

    Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride. Make sure the service guys know that it is a cartridge type oil filter not the canister type up front.

    I would look also into changing the carbin air filter if it's dirty. Most Walmart also has it, for around $18?

    Sweet will do. I actually forgot I have a free oil Chang at Fletcher's. They are a lil more competent then my local Walmart people. So I will have them do it.

    It is blizzard white! At first I wanted a black one but the white looks cool too! I would like to put some black rims on it one day.

    LOL I looked in this thread specifically looking to see who would post this. lol found it. I've noticed BP people seem to be snobby about their color. I almost regret getting one now lol.

    I drove it home today pretty cool lil car. What the hell is the b on the shift knob for though. I have a ton of reading to do.

    It is B drive just for Blizzard Pearl Priuses! Just kidding it is like down shifting when you use B it spins the engine and uses it as an air pump to slow the car. The owners manual is your friend study it well.

    Thx I will have to pull that in the house during the week. I came from an srt8 300 so driving is totally different but I am getting 50 MPG so I can live with that.
