Off the wall question, but does anyone have some decent pictures of the coils on a prius? I am having a heck of a time finding any. Much appreciated! I was looking at specs of them, and they seem like a good choice for a project car because I have very limited room and they are quite powerful. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Prius uses a direct ignition system.
Ignition coils are are placed just above each spark plugs.

Well, I have decided to give them a shot. The dwell, etc looks spot on. Does anyone per chance have the wiring diagram as it goes into the coil?

The coils have plugs on them. each wire is a different length, so you can't mix them up. each plug is held in with 1 screw. only hand tighten this screw when re assembling. as others have said, they sit right on top of the spark plugs. not extremely snugly either.

Wouldn't you be better off using an LS1 style coil? You can get them from Accel or others, and for the price of one Prius coil you could probably get 6-8 LS1 style coils
