Picture upload error, how do we solve it?

    I'm trying to upload an image for a post and getting the following error:

    The requested file upload failed because suitable permissions have not been enabled on the 'uploads' directory. Please contact the board administrator and inform them of this error.

    How do we resolve this?

    It works for me. I didn't add the picture as an attachment. I used the "Insert Image" icon and entered the link for the picture. Give that a try and see if it works.

    That works for inserting a photo that is on the web at a URL. But the image must be accessable at a URL. I'm trying to upload an image into the post, but don't have it available through direct access at a URL.

    Just upload it to www.imageshack.us for free and then link the image.

    Oh yeah, I meant to put that (or something similar) in my earlier response. I was trying to get that done before lunch, so I hurried a little too much.

    Since the site was down earlier this week, Danny hasn't gotten everything back up to 100% yet... one of those that isn't working is the upload functionality. so either host the image somewhere else and link it from here, or wait till he can get to fixing it!
