Has anyone installed a Pioneer Navigation unit AVIC-80DVD in the PRIUS using the built in touch screen unit? I have access to one and am anzious to install it.
The audio/video unit "now in production" at Coastal Daves might help if/when they are finished. Suggestions needed. Help!
    Ed Walter :)

I know someone has installed one like it, but it replaced the audio system and was a separate screen.

Get the Canview2 from the store here or directly at hybridinterfaces.ca.

This box provides a interface from the AVIC to the Prius MFD and also features touch-screen input to the AVIC, something that the Coastal vaporware product does not. Additionally, the Canview provides a second video input port as well as CAN bus monitoring so you can read and display many of the car's operational parameters (RPMs, temperatures, voltages, etc) on the MFD display.
