Can anyone provide some instructions on how to remove those plastic "wheel rings"?

    Thanks,

It's really easy. Just grab along the inside and pull. It should snap right out.

    aaf709 provided only partial instructions.

First, explain to the wife that it will make the car look nicer.
Then firmly grab the rim and pull it off. I recommend a slow approach so the sudden inertia doesn't snap them.
When you're finished, reiterate to the wife that it makes the car look nicer.
Lastly, store them somewhere you can get to them for when the wife changes her mind.

    :)

Thanks! That was really easy. Anytime I exert that much force, I'm always affraid that I would break something. I took one off, to compare. With or without, adds a different character to the car.

    Thanks,
    JL
