Just like the title says, can someone please recommend a decent tire air pressure gauge I can buy online- say on Amazon?

I'd prefer one with a bleed valve to make getting the right pressure level easier.

    Thanks!

Save yourself the shipping fees. Go to a auto parts house and buy one.

I prefer the pencil type gages. Other's will say different things. Each person has their own individual likes and dislikes.

Here is a example of a pencil type gage.

Thanks, but I'm not a fan of those. They are built into the air hoses I tend to use anyway.

I want one with a bleed valve so I can just overfill the tire a little bit, then use the bleed valve to back it down to exactly where I want it. Also, FYI, I have Amazon prime so I get free 2 day shipping on most items.

Understood, best of luck to you. Like I said, everyone has their own preferences.

I think the above is exactly what you are asking for.

I was looking at that very one- was hoping someone here has used it and can vouch for quality/accuracy.

no one knows if their air gauge is accurate. i have 3 pencil gauges that are within 2 lbs of each other. that's good enough for me. i just use the back side to release pressure, it's quick and easy.

Unless you're going racing where the difference between a pound or two can mean the difference between making through the turn versus hitting the wall, you want a precision (repeatability) gauge first, accuracy second.

Here's a report that shows pencil gauges, albeit low tech, work really well. Comparison Tests on Tire Pressure Gauges

^ What Xliderider says. Accu-Gauge with the short whip hose. If it doesn't come with the protective rubber outer guard order one separate.

I rely primarily on a pencil gauge I've had for decades. It's scale goes high enough to check the (60 psi) spare as well. I picked up a cheapish digital scale and it gives the same readings, so it looks like it's a keeper.

I couldn't find the pencil gauge one time, bought another, seemed like decent quality, but I COULD NOT get the new gauge to seat properly on the valve rim: air would bleed out like crazy. Not sure why, gasket looks perfect. Anyway, I found the old one, so all is good.

The rubber gasket on it is starting to look a little knackered though, may have to break down and shop for a new one some time. You pays your money and takes your chances. :)

    Checked mine, its:

    PCL tyre pressure gauge

Made in England, by Pneumatic Components Ltd

    Displayed range: 10~120 psi
