Where: BCIT Building SW1 Room 1021, beside the main entry by the Student Employment offices, same lattitude as the usual meeting place but nearest Willingdon Ave

When: Wed May 16, 2007 at 7:30 PM

Who: Dr. Andrew Frank, professor of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering at the University of California's Davis campus, is a recognized authority on plug-in hybrid vehicle research.

Plug-in Hybrid: A hybrid that is fitted with a large enough battery pack to allow fully electric operation for intra-city driving. The gas engine is only needed for longer trips which may only occur once a week, or not at all. Fossil fuel consumption typically drops to about 2.5 litres per 100 km which is 100 mpg!

Dr. Andrew Frank from UC Berkeley will be giving the talk. If you've got some time to burn tomorrow night, here's an event you can attend!
