Anyone here from England/UK and done a plug-in modification?

If so, I've got lots of questions :)

    Which conversion did you do?
    Has it affected your insurance?

    ...just for starters!

There is also a member on here called flaninacupboard (don't ask!) who is in the process of converting his Prius to a PHEV via the Enginer kit.

Check out page 3 of the following post for details. I'm looking forward to his updates. Oh and yes if you do install a kit to your car it will most certainly affect your insurance. You must inform them and they may well apply additional terms, premiums or may even cancel cover. I would suggest you obtain alternative quotations BEFORE you install a kit just incase your existing insurers pull the plug (pardon the pun! lol).
