Policies regarding Group Buys, Advertisements, etc

Recently there has been a great increase in the number of various aftermarket accessories for the 3rd Gen Prius. That's great news for those of us that like to modify our cars in various ways. Unfortunately, many of the companies offering these items have been trying to subvert the policies setup here on PriusChat for posting Group Buys, advertisements, or "gauging interest".

In order to be fair to all parties and limit the amount of self-serving posts here on PriusChat, the policy is as follows:

• If you would like to create a Group Buy on PriusChat, advertise a product that you have created or are re-selling, or simply gauge interest in a product that you offer, parties MUST contact me first via email - [email protected] - and await a response.
• Any attempts to circumvent these policies in any way may result in a permanent ban and deletion of all posts.

Thanks for helping to keep this site free of the commercialism that seems to overwhelm other community sites.
