This is a no-brainer, Swanny. Even the people who don't think the plate works, most of them won't buy one. The evidence as far as number of happy customers is clearly apparent in the posts.

Unfortunately, happy customers is not the only type of evidence that many are looking for.

Do a search as you will find that someone already did a poll about this. If I remember correctly the numbers were overwhelmingly in favor of our BT Tech plate hence no one ever brought up the subject/poll again.

There is allot of hashing back and forth and many folks don't like the fight and the confrontation, this is an excellent means they can vote anonomously without fear of being attacked.

Brian, I think you are qualified, as you do own one or more of them.

 

This is my first post guys so please take it easy on me. I got one of the bt plates for our (Boyfriend and I) 07 Prius with touring option. We bought it through the online store a few months ago and have had it installed for about 6 weeks. Since I am the one that drives the car so much I can say that the car does not sway like it use to and handles uneven terrain with much more composure than before. We have a house outside of Aspen and some of the roads can be very bumpy. After the install of our bt plate these roads are no longer trecherous to drive on and the car feels much more solid compared to before when we did not have the bt plate. In my situation we are both pleased with our purchase.

The Touring model has never been known to sway nor handle badly. Try spending time driving the car, check the alignment, and tire pressures before you claim the placebo effect.

Robin, welcome to the forum... sometimes the new people are the most objective.

There is always a concern "on either side of the fence" that new people are just plants to express concerns by a supposed new person "thats really an old person"... if you know what I mean....

But you certainly sound genuine and Its nice to hear fresh input from someone who has no reason to lie.

Not sure you read her post.... try reading it before you slam it and accusing her of being under a false placebo effect... she directly implied several times that she had been driving the car "before" she put on the plate and now it behaves differently.

She gave absolutely no indication she was a novice with the plate as it had been on for 6 weeks already, and there was a difference before it was applied.

I have a BT plate still new in the bubble-wrap if anyone is interested in buying it. I bought it a while ago and since then decided not to install it. I accept PayPal - how much should I ask for?

 

My boyfriend and I purchased our Prius in San Diego when we went out there to visit his parents. This was over 6 months ago and drove the car back to Aspen. We have put over 14k miles on the car so far as I visit friends over in Denver and Ft. Collins fairly regularly so I know how the car behaved before we installed the bt plate. The change the plate made for us was quite noticable with the conditions in which we encounter daily when driving the car.
