Many years ago, I was bemoaning how quickly Rain-X had to be reapplied. Some suggested a polymer coating kit and it worked great:
    • easily lasted +2 years
    • inhibited crack expansion by blocking air and water from a rock impact
I forget what was recommended but I notice there are claims about 'ceramic' now that we didn't have back then. Anyone have recommendations or URL to a review?

    UPDATE:
It looks like 'glassparency' is a two-part, glass cover. The advantage is the base coat, A, requires a top coat, B, that two parts, like an epoxy, forms a hard surface that should solidly adhere to the glass. This is the approach I'm leaning towards.

    Thanks,
    Bob Wilson
