Hello, i'm in the works for getting a brand new 2010 prius (hopefully this weekend 3/6/10)

The car is really going to be for my wife, but it will be our family car (although no kids at the moment)

    I'm located in Chino, SoCal

wanted to say hi. I hope to become apart of this forum.

I'm a current matrixowner, hopefully my sig is down below.
that's a old picture of it, i plan on updating sometime soon.

We dont have it yet, but we're thinking between the ver. II and III prius.

I have still yet to really see what the difference is, hopefully someone can help explain.
But we are going to the dealership sat. to have some talks with the salesman.

Hopefully i'm not missing any info that you guys require, i'm on other forums and i try to abide by most of the rules.

Good luck this weekend. If you are not sure between the II or the III, I would recommend going to the Toyota website and look up the Prius. They have a table that shows the standard features of the II, III, IV and V along with available option packages. I would review this thoroughly so that you will either understand the differences or at least will be able to ask the sales people intelligent questions.

There have been several new owners on this site lately with buyer's remorse after buying a certain model and not fully understanding the differences.

Welcome! If I remember correctly one of the main reasons I went with the III was the sks system.

    Happy hybrid hunting! :)

    thanks everyone.
we just got our prius on saturday as i anticipated.

    black with dark interior
ver. III with the nav/jbl speakers./back up camera
and what was unexpected, we leased it, instead of financed it.

we were thinking of wanting to own the car, but the lease rates were only what we could afford at the moment.

i totally forgot the price of the car, but our deal was $300 over invoice. i know you can get better, but i hope that's pretty good.

our drive off was just under $800 and we're at about $225/month for payments.

is this deal good? i at least hope its decent.

also, just wondering, cause i'm used to having meets with matrix people and corollas, do you prius owners (in Socal) meet up as well?

my wife has pictures on her phone, i'll try and take some tonight if i can on my phone.

hi au toe :)......almost same area, i'm in brea/fullerton border. i think that's typical of a pricing in our area $300 over invoice that was the best by far.

prius IV owner & we are loving it.
