Power from Toyota Prius

    How to get power to the amps from Toyota Prius ?
    I try to to get the power to the subwoofer amps , could not find the battery . there is conventional way of hooking up a car am ?

    If you mean you want to find the 12v battery, look in the hatch on the right hand side. That little triangle panel on the false floor is where it hides.

    BUT DANGER! There be dragons there... The 12v is a little tiny thing made only to flip a relay. It is not meant to power ginormous amps and speakers with the car off. Also make sure the 12v output of the DC-DC is sufficient for whatever load you will be placing on it.

    You mean the HV (High Voltage) battery? Not unless your equipment can withstand 230V DC which I highly doubt.

    The battery is in the rear passenger's side down low.

    Many auto part stores (or get an amp wiring kit from Amazon) have screw on connectors that crimp to a 10awg cable.

    Make *sure* you also use an appropriate fuse in line to the + battery...

    I run many things off it with no problems...
