Power Split Device in Other Hybrid models?

    Does anyone know if the PSD/CVT that is used in the prius is the same technology used in the hybrid Camry for example?

    Reminds me of a couple years (?) back when some company tried to sue Toyota because using a hybrid system with a planetary gear system was something they had tried to patent in the mid-90s.

    (Never heard anything more about it, so presumably they went away, or Toyota had them all killed by Ninjas)
