    yes, keep the car in 'ready' mode, (outside) and it will run for days on a full tank of gas, keeping the 12v charged. just keep your eye on it so no one will steal it.;)

    Yep, the Prius comes in handy in an emergency. I did this after I lost power due to Hurricane Sandy.

    Yes, it has to be in Ready mode only.

    Doesn't need to be a Pip. It's an easy mod, lot's of people do it. Search the forums for Priups.
