I have a 2007 prius that has around 150k miles. I haven't done anything to it since change the tires once and replace the rear shocks besides the oil changes.

I haven't had any problems with the car. This is the best car I have ever owned as far as never having to fix anything goes.

But, I am also worried that in this many miles I really haven't done anything to it for maintenance except the spark plugs at 100k as suggested by the manual.

The owner's manual really doesn't tell you to do anything except for filters and oil and spark plugs at 100k.

What maintenance have you guys been doing who have higher mileage Priuses?

I'm not having a single problem with the car but I am getting a little paranoid here :O)

    Thanks!

    Hi Jen,

    I would suggest the following:

    1. Replace engine and inverter/transaxle coolant (this is in the maintenance schedule at 100K miles)
    2. Replace transaxle ATF fluid
    3. Replace the PCV valve
    4. Replace the serpentine drive belt
    5. Replace the front struts
    6. Replace the inverter coolant pump as a preventive move, since you won't get advance notice of a failure

That's about it if you don't have driveability issues.
