    01-DA:
    NO RESPONSE AGAINST ON / OFF COMMAND TROUBLE AREAS
    1. Power source circuit of component that has stored the code
    2. AVC-LAN circuit between multidisplay and componenet shown by sub code
    3. Component which has stored this code

    01-DC:
    TRANSMISSION ERROR

    If same sub code is recorded in other components, check harness for Power supply and communication system for all components shown by Sub-code

    Component Code:
    190 = AUDIO H/U
    1C6 = GATEWAY

    As you can see from the above, these codes are not the ones that will help diagnose the problem at which you're looking.

    Water in the battery compartment and boot (usually) comes from hairline cracks at the roof seems. Till you locate and fix them, remove the drain bungs from both compartments to drain the water. There are a few informative posts on this issue, so use (advanced) search and just search the Gen 2 forums only.

    How many miles on the car?

    You never said anything about the condition of the battery, just you changed it. With a new one? What are the voltages of the new battery with no load and with a load of the headlights on?

    Are all the connections (positive terminal, negative terminal and where the negative ties to the body) clean and tight?

    What is the voltage at the front jump point?
