I just talked to Kelley at Coastal Electronics and she said the Nav mod kit that allows input while the car is moving does NOT work on the 2006 Prius, only the 2004-5. No definite word from her if they will make one or not. Anybody know of anything else that works on the 2006 to defeat the Nav and Bluetooth motion inhibit circuits?

Use the Search function, all you need is 2 switches and some wire to splice into 2 purple wires behind the passenger side vent panel next to the radio. Where you place the switches is up to you, I plan on using 1 DPDT switch and placing it in one of the switch blanks to the left of the steering wheel.

This is only a suspicion, but it just might be possible that the Coastal NAV kit WITH BT will work on the 2006 as it connects to the MFD, and it sounds as though the BT part kills the speed sensor wire electronically for 30 seconds.

That being said, none of those are available to test with.
