prius 2008 not charged in "parking" after trying to add after market aux

    Hi friends,
    I installed an after market aux on my 2008 prius (basic model).
    The unit wasn't working (despite it had light indicating that it connected), so I reassembly it.
    Since than I've noticed that while car is in "parking" it not being charged.
    Engine is working but not charge the car (it charging in drive or reverse mode, but not in parking (or neutral, but that is normal)

    1. Does someone experience such issue?
    2. Any thoughts or info about this indications?
    3. Will disconnecting the 12v for an hour will reset this issue?
    Important note:
    During aux disconnection, radio slept from my hands, I hope this is wire disconnection issue. Make sense? Does radio connection can effect that way?

    Battery level sufficiently high enough it may not need to be charged in park
    At this time.
    Let it sit there with lights on and ac on and radio on till battery turns purple and I bet the charge comes on.

    Battery level dropped to single line, yet not charging, despite engine works in 99.9 fuel consumption.
    Charging in drive or revrse only.

    bad connection somewhere. try reversing your install and see what happens.

    My 2008 would not charge from park unless drop to pink. Turn your a/c on full blast and it will suck to charge down and you will hear and see on the mfd charge it up just a line or 2, but not full as that is not efficient. But when you drive and break it will charge back up. Also your engine running to heat up or supply cabin heat. Shut off all HVAC and let engine reach operation temp and it will then shut off on its own even with low main battery

    Car is fine...

    It appeares that when:
    - Car is in parking mode
    - There is enough battery (2+ bars)
    - Non electric motor is working (because gas peddle pumressed down)
    You won't see charging indication via MFD - but that is fine

    When battery level will be dropped into 2 bars, engine will automaticlly start and battery will be recharged.

    Bottom line,
    Despite motor is working and fuel consumption is 99.9 (in parking when pushing down gas peddal) battery won't be recharged automaticaly.
