Prius allocation for the end of this month - Sept 2004

    The Southern CA allocation for all 75 of us dealers is 561 -- wow! Now that is very encouraging, mind you! I have no idea what mix of packages that is, but it means that we're going to start to see the results of the increase in production soon!

    Is 561 a lot? I have no basis of comparison.

    Considering there were many, many allocations we had 121 or 150 cars to divvy up, and the last few there have been 250-300 or so, 561 is a huge number. That is why I said it was very encouraging. We as a region have needed a thousand cars a month for quite a few months now. It's a good thing.

    just chatted with my internet salesman... he says his wait is still out about 6 months... didn't say how many people on it... also forgot to ask if he was delivering 05's yet.
