Prius at 267K miles, what maintance should be done? Cleaned MAF, Throttble Body, replaced PCV Valve

    After a bit of a scare with the engine running unexpectedly continuously on the first drive (looked it up, ECU is just re calibrating), it's running great! The throttle body, and PCV valve were pretty dirty. The MAF wasn't super clean either.

    Last fall cleaned the hybrid battery busbars and did the discharge/charge battery maintenance thing. Thought I had a bad cell, but the issue turned out to be the orange port on the battery computer was burnt out.

    Planning the air filter and spark plugs next pay check. Coolant was effectively flushed after a water pump gasket failure. Replaced the gasket/pump and the coolant.

    Also swapped in a new belt.

    Is there anything else I should plan to clean or replace?

    If you are running on the original coils, I'd change all of them out using either OEM or Denso-branded equivalents. Save up if you have to. Do not use products from Amazon or eBay for these, get them from a brick-and-mortar store. The chances of counterfeits are just too high.

    Thanks for the suggestions everyone. The battery fan connector terminals did have a bit of corrosion. Something to think about.

    I definitely need to do the coils, but ouch. I'm reading they're meant to be replaced every 100k miles so probably well past time.

    The other thing is I'm wondering if the transaxal fluid should be replaced? Can't find any good info on when it needs replaced.

    Not sure where you read that. Unless you have OBD2 codes that show related misfires (first follow the work up), then replace as needed.
    At that mileage one would hope it was changed at least once, best to open up the fill hole and stick your finger inside to check the color/level.
    Many threads here, some include fluid analysis. The schedule isn't in the US version, but likely in the Canadian or Australian versions.
