Almost traded my PC3 for a Prius 3 but the dealer at Toyota Irvine were so greedy by
giving only $15,800 for a 5 month old $22,000 car so I simply walked away..

Thanks. But I`m still wondering what would be the real blue book value of the Prius C by now, I've checked kelly bluebook website
    but it's not posted yet.

Hmm, a Blue Prius C 3. If you were in Phoenix, I might talk to you about buying that car. How many miles on it? :^)

KBB is of little value, dealers go by recent auction data to determine the vehicle's value. Why would a dealer give you KBB for a car that they would have to wholesale if it cannot be sold?

KBB Wholesale value vs. not knowing what your car is worth while walking into the predatory dealership? It's at least a starting point in your negotiations.

To the OP, sell it privately. They are in demand and you should be able to get closer to the $20K mark. Worth the hassle.

I've had a string of accidents with this car and I figure I could use more space but trading with a dealer seems the worst
    route to go..

Accidents? Like, car accidents that caused damage to the car? Or am I misunderstanding? Because that might explain the low offer...
