I have a 2012 Prius C with 150k KMs on the clock. First time yesterday, when I go to start it was giving me message on the screen saying oil pressure low, I checked the oil level is fine, no leaks. The key fob was also playing up in the sense it would be difficult to lock and unlock, button not responding most of the time. Also when I do start it, the HV battery would show flick between where it already was and zero, the car would not go into gear or turn off. After a small wait I was able to turn the car off. I checked all fuses, taking some out and it seems fine. I started the car a few more times, same scenario. On the 3rd or 4th start this time I got the HV battery error. The key fob was working better now. I checked the Dr Prius App and cleared the codes and was able to drive the car a little to test and HV battery was charging. I didn't want to drive more as I'm going away for a week, so after Easter I will have to see if error returns. Anybody experience this before or know what the root cause can be? - Initial Engine Oil Pressure Low warning - Subsequent Check Hybrid System warning - HV Battery ECU Error code - Battery monitor screenshot 1 - Battery monitor screenshot 2
