To: Zhang Heng Shuttlecraft Crew and Maintenance Personnel

From: Commander Montgomery Scott, Chief, Starfleet Vessel Upgrade Program

In addition to the refit of Constellation-class Starships, the Upgrade Program has tested and installed upgrades to Prius-class shuttlecraft. Additions to the Zhang Heng as received from the contractor include:

    1. Structural Integrity Reinforcement: This can be identified by a double X-braced plate slightly aft of amidships on the underside of the shuttlecraft.

    2. Velocity Transducer Outlets resized: Permits better control of warp engine vectors by increasing the warp space interface.

    3. Engineering Auxiliary Computer: Permits additional monitoring of warp engine and mission parameters.

    4. Main Screen Security Access: This procedure has been simplified, eliminating repetitive and unnecessary security measures , and enabling stellar cartography functions during transit.

    5. Inertial Dampening Security Sensors: Disabled since Starfleet Regulations require the engagement of the inertial dampening system at all times during operation of the shuttlecraft.

    6. Aft Motion Warning System: The installed internal warning system has been de-activated and replaced with a system that is detectable both inside and outside the shuttlecraft.

    7. Subspace Communication Upgrade: The external subspace antenna has been replace with a unit that is less subject to external damage, and which (minimally) improves warp efficiency.

    8. Intermix Pre-Heater: Installed by MiddleEarth and Conflagration engineers, it takes energy from SpaceDock reactors, to increase the Intermix Chamber temperatures to near warp capability, allowing faster engagement of Warp Drive on leaving SpaceDock.

    9. Velocity Transducer Aerodynamics: Aerodynamic rotational disks have been added to decrease drag in atmospheric environments.

    10. Main Viewer Shield: Filters photonic interference from the Main Viewer.

    11. Antigravity Generators: These emit blue photons during operations, visible from the underside of the shuttlecraft.

    12. Weapons and Engineering Controls: Bridge Audibles, Photon Torpedoes, Phasers, Transporters, Warp Drive, and Alert Status are now visible via the Main Viewer.

    13. Rear Loading Dock Access: The interface between the access and the aft shields has been reinforced.

    14. Liquid Container Receptacles: Buffering has been added here and in the internal access grips of all 4 personnel access hatches, which are also occassionally used as storage areas, particularly for personal communicators.

Please check the star chart at:

    http://willieyee.com/ZhangHeng.html/

It looks like a 403 entropy field.

BTW, I have a similar Spacedock power coupling but I'm planning to use a nanobot to provide a warp engine, jump start when a Spacedock reactor and coupling is not available. Also, I should have a prototype, auto-docking system soon not so much for chamber preheating but also topping off the antimatter chamber.

Ok I'll identify myself as a partial Trekkie and take a crack at it.

    1 - BT stiffening plate
    2 -
    3 - added PC
4 - Nav hack to allow entry while driving
5 - seatbelt beeper turned off
6 - back-up beeper turned off, outside beep installed
    7 - sharkfin antenna
    8 - ebh
    9 - new wheels
    10 - window tinting
    11 - underbody light kit?
    12 -
    13 -

    Here's my attempt:

    1 - BT plate
    2 - New tires
    3 - ScanGauge
    4 - Nav override (Coastal?)
5 - Disable seat belt alert
6 - Reverse alert disabled and replaced with external beeper.
    7 - Sharkfin
    8 - EBH
    9 - Custom hubcaps
10 - Window tint, or MFD hood?
    11 - Underbody light kit
    12 - Can View
    13 - Bumper Cover
    14 - Cupholder pads

Not sure about 3 and 12, I could have them switched, or one of them might be wrong.

Ooh, that's good. I was thinking mudflaps or air dams for #2, but new tires make more sense. I'm also thinking Scanguage for #3, but #12 refers to main viewer, which based on #10 being window tint implied a heads-up display or something I'm not familiar with, but if #10 is the MFD hood like you say, then #12 could be canview, or just access to the diagnostics/setup screens.

I ran into the same 403 exclusion shield, some kind of cloaking device as no images could be brought onscreen.

    EV mode and battery charger?

Somewhat like EV mode. I'll still have the chamber preheater more for lower lubrication drag but think of the antimatter chamber filling as PHEV-lite.

Instead of starting off each morning at whatever the overnight self-discharge leaves the traction batteries, start off at 78-79% of full. This reduces the amount of warm-up anti-matter needed to compensate for traction battery self discharge and the depleted levels after docking the night before. I like to EV the last mile in the evening.

This haves effectiveness of implement primary/secondary auditory feedback control system does improve for orange conditions typical of unfortunate circumprius conditioning of external. Option of "Hello Kitty" popular variation also package availables. The assistance of vision impulse conditions. Does not replace of warp auditory safety implement. Hello Kitty.

    MiddleEarth: guilty!
    .
As our engineering staff has extensive experience with 403 subspace
cloaking fields, we've also designed mitigation strategies for users
on either end of the torpedo tube. The enemy can generally de-cloak
the contained objects by collapsing the excess space inside; this
has the amusing side effect that much of the forward viewer appears
to become filled with the string "%20". But it works well. Now, if
the defender of the web outpost wants to make sure none of the
surrounding field is cloaked in the first place, the excess space
can be mapped and then modulated to represent some other glyph,
which should underscore [hint] the stasis-field presence of the
nearby objects and require no additional types of scanning.
