SUNDAY, JANUARY 30, 2005 - PRIUS CLUB MEETING
Joshua Goldman of ISE Corporation, a San Diego based manufacturer of hybrid systems including gas-electric,diesel-electric and hydrogen fuel cell-electric buses, will be adressing the 6th meeting of the Prius Club of San Diego at the Mission Valley Resort on Sunday, January 30 at 11 AM in Salon B. Mr. Goldman, a Prius owner, is employed at ISE Corporation since 2000 as a Mechanical Engineer. He is project manager for one of the company's hybrid transit bus implementations.

We have arranged for a noon lunch of salad, Pasta Primavera with or without chicken, rolls & butter, chocolate cake, coffee and tea. We will collecting $17 at the sign-up table entering the room. Parking will be at the northwest end of the lot in a row along Hotel Circle South for great visibility. The Mission Valley Resort is relatively easy to get to, off Interstate 8 at the Taylor Street Exit, then east about a mile to the entrance on your right. 875 Hotel Circle South, San Diego, CA 92108 (619) 298-8281

PLEASE RSVP to [email protected] if you will be attending so that we can give them an idea of the number of attendees for table setup and food planning!

The meeting will start with a welcome, club status and legislative update, a short presentation by Henry Eisenson about add-ons/modifications, then socializing around lunch. Bring ideas, stories, yourself and friends/ other owners/wannabe owners. We should have a great time. The main part of the meeting after lunch will be Joshua's presentation and a spirited discussion lead by Roger & Ellen Scott regarding more formal organization of the Club.

The meeting will end at 3PM, but we want to be sure to take pictures of the greatest assemblage of Prius in one place in the parking lot afterward, so plan on staying for at least a while and bringing your camera. Heavy rain at the previous meeting prevented most picture taking though quite a few people took more than a few shots of Dave Hermance's Lexus RX400h hybrid SUV.

    Again, RSVP to [email protected]
