Dave Hermance, Chief Engineer for Environmental Issues for Toyota will be addressing the 5th meeting of the Prius Club of San Diego at the Olympic Resort Hotel and Spa on Sunday December 5 at 11 AM in the Baton Rouge room. We have arranged for a noon lunch with a variety of sandwich choices, potato salad, coffee and tea. We will collecting $20 at the sign-up table entering the room. Parking should be no problem. The Olympic is relatively easy to get to, off the I 5 at Palomar Airport Road then east to El Camino Real then south to the entrance immediately on your right. 6111 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009 760-438-8330

PLEASE RSVP to [email protected] if you will be attending so that we can give The Olympic an idea of the number of attendees for table setup and food planning!

The meeting will start with a welcome and legislative update, a short presentation by Henry Eisenson about entertainment system add-ons/modifications, then socializing around lunch. Bring ideas, stories, yourself and friends/ other owners/wannabe owners. We should have a great time. The meeting is open to all on a first come first served basis until we reach the capacity of the room (120).

The main part of the meeting after lunch will be a talk by Dave Hermance of Toyota. Dave will also address the likes/wants/concerns raised by the table discussions at the last meeting and field questions from the attendees about the Prius and Toyota in general.

The meeting will end at 3PM, but we want to be sure to take pictures of the greatest assemblage of Prius in one place in the parking lot afterward, so plan on staying for at least a while and bringing your camera.

Last meeting we had 55 people with 35 Prius. Bet we beat that record!

    Again RSVP to [email protected]

San Diego Prius Club meets are always terrific, with great locations, good food, interesting presentations, and (above all) super people. We've had raffles, tech info, user experience, discounted goodies, freebies, worthwhile advice, and much more.

Thanks to Sev for his choreography --- he's the Bob Fosse of the San Diego Prius Club - the largest in the country.

    Hello San Diego Club

I tried to go to the San Diego Club section and was denied access. How do we get access?
    Thanks,
    Tara

How to View & Join your Local Prius Club Forum

In an effort to keep the local club discussion localized and the local topics off of every member's "Posts Since Last Visit" page, we've decided to make each Club Forum private. This means that when you view http://priuschat.com/forums/index.php?c=10 you'll see "No Posts".

That is, of course, unless you want to be a member of that Local Club by joining their Usergroup. Joining a Usergroup is free & easy, and you can do it all with a couple clicks of the mouse.

Simply click Usergroups at the top of the PriusChat website, select the group you want to be a member of, click "View Information", the click the "Join Group" button.

Now you have full access to your Local Prius Club's discussion forum!

I hope this makes it easier for everyone to stay focused on overall Prius discussion in the main forums & local Prius talk in the Local Club Forums.

As always, let me know if you have any questions.
