Prius Dashboard Brightness

    Can you dim the lights in the Prius Dash (speedo, fuel, etc.)

    yup! there's a dimmer on the left hand side of the dash.

    The dimmer only works when the headlights are on.

    Actually, come to think of it, we're all assuming you are in North America. In some markets, the dimmer is a button on the dash near the hazard light button. I think.

    No, he said T4. That'll be UK.

    Look for the button that's beside the ODO button. That'll change the lighting intensity in steps (don't remember how many choices there are).

    The NA version has a rotary rheostat switch instead.

    if your in a market with Auto headlights in daylight the dash and MFD will not dim even with the headlights on. There is a photo cell in the left front corner of the dash that stops the dimming till darkness falls.
