Prius MFD cracked help?

    So I just picked up a used prius with a cracked mfd and i dont know if the car ever had GPS or not. So my question is can i figure out if it had gps with a vin number or model code on the car somewhere ? an also i can find used ones for 01 to 03 cars that have GPS mfd but if my car never had GPS can i still use it? or is there specific MFD i need to buy? Any help i could get would be so nice, thanks in advane. - william

    I'm pretty sure the MFD is identical in all Gen 1/Classic Prius regardless if it had GPS capability or not. So any gen 1 MFD will likely substitute just fine.

    ok kool well ill give it a try an see what happens. Hopefully your right and im not out $150 or so.
