Prius Mudguards?

Yes. But only into plastic. Unless you don't mind crooked screws, you also have to remove the rear wheels to drill the backs. The front wheels can be turned enough to not need removal.

Very easy to install. 20 minutes top if you are using a floor jack.

 

Yes to drilling.... into plastic as mentioned. But don't worry about it being reversible. The mudguards look nice when they're on and no reason to take them off again. I got tired of spray up the side of my lovely clean car if I hit anything remotely wet. I'm very glad I put them on.

The holes needed are not in an awful spot, so if you choose to (or are forced to) remove the mud guards at any point, you could probably get away with leaving the holes as they are... You could also plug them with epoxy or something if you're worried about water/muck getting in there. They'd be barely noticeable unless you're looking for them.

Put the fasteners back in the holes after removing the mudguards and they are plugged and invisible.

the mudguards are always a good addon for car, especially in wet climates. Here in neveda dont normally need them, but they are nice for wet puddles and for keeping small rocks from making scracths accros bottom fenders

 

I got my yesterday and installed them right away. Took me 20 mins with a floor jack... Very easy install. Makes the car look nice!

 

i purchased mine in 04. they are still looking. They tend to hold up pretty well. i have a habit of bottoming out when i go up hwy 9. the mud guard is the first thing that hits. it's a little flat on the bottom. I do that a lot. layball:

 

If your mudflaps get old and fall apart get new ones. If it was a good idea to have mudflaps in the first place it's a good idea to replace them if they break. So no need to worry about ugly holes.
