    Depends.

There ARE more foolish cars to own, but if you're spending north of.....say......$25,000 in order to "save money" then one can make a case where you will be either statistically or 'real world' smart.....or?
    ....not so much.

If you are not funding things like retirement, college, weddings, emergencies, etc.....it might not be the car for you (no new car would be!)
If you have to tow something.....it might not be the car for you.
If you prefer driving a car with a clutch.....it might not be the car for you.
If you live in an apartment or a condo.....it might not be the car for you.
If you never check your fluids or filters.....it might not be the car for you.
If car maintenance means a trip to the dealer.....it might not be the car for you.
If you're sensitive to adverse comments about automotive styling.....it might not be the car for you.
If you have more than 2 kiddos.....it might not be the car for you.
If "size matters".....it might not be the car for you.
If you've ever used a snow-thrower, or even know what one looks like.....it might not be the car for you.
If you've never used an HOV lane.....it might not be the car for you.

Generally speaking, cars are an emotional purchase, otherwise there would be a grand total of ZERO new cars in the US capable of putting more than 500 BHP on the street, and the number of 4x4s would be greatly diminished.
Also generally speaking.....if you HAVE to ask, then you probably already know the answer, and you're seeking justification.

    My last car purchase?

    I KNEW!

    Good Luck!
