The obituary: Mike's Prius, age 19 months and 23,000 miles, suffered a stroke on May 27 that caused five computers to fail at once. It remained in a coma until declared dead at Rosner Toyota on July 1. The cause of death remains unknown after heroic efforts to revive the car and despite autopsies. I can assure you that no OxyContin or Demerol was found in the gas tank.

Wow! Keep PC posted. I've never heard of a car that couldn't be fixed, with enough $$$ available. And so young. That has to be warranty work, unless there's a salvage title involved. One would think it'd be cheaper to fix the car, than replace a tranny, wiring harnesses and a half dozen ECU's. who knew.
