All she needs to do now is replace those trim rings.

I don't watch the show, but this comment after the post has me wondering:
I believe the commenter has missed the point of what the mom said. To me, it seems that the pronoun "it" is being misplaced.

Here's what I think the mother meant:
"Don't be ignorant just because ignorance is in right now."
Meaning that it's the popular thing to do to keep your head in the sand (or up your exhaust pipe) rather than to learn about what's really going on.

Here's how the commenter interpreted it:
"Don't be ignorant just because the Prius is in right now."

So what was the true meaning of the sentence?

    You got it.

I guess it's just a cooler way of saying "If all your friends jumped off a cliff would you jump off too?" :)

It's a very good show. My wife and I have watched it since the first episode. In fact, we're going to watch an episode tonight that we recorded. :D

Take another hit and it'll become clearer to you.

Or, maybe you've had one hit too many.

    do not know.

Never watched the show, but Shane sounds pathetic. He likes the Range Rover. We Traded in our Range rover for the Lexus RX-400h. Getting 30mpg in stead of 13mpg. Consumer Reports states The Range Rover as having the LOWEST reliability (which I confirm, after spending thousands of dollars and tons of time at the service station) and Lexus as having the highest reliability. You go Shane.

Technically she's not a MILF because we don't have kids. ;)

He's a kid, he doesn't care about reliability.

Technically, MILF is your friend's mom, not just somebody's mom. Gets less applicable as you get older...
