Picked our newest addition up on Saturday: spent 2-1/2 hours at the dealer reviewing the car's features then drove 52 miles (mostly highway) home...averaged 46 mpg :) w a ride quieter, smoother, and nicer than I imagined! At almost 5'5", I found the firm seats extremely comfortable, love the power lumbar support, Bluetooth/iPhone, and nav system :)
A heap of gratitude to those who run and post on this site: the info I learned prior to purchasing enabled me to among other things, have the reverse internal beeper changed to one and the seatbelt beeps turned off :)
    Many, many thanks!

Congrats on your purchase! We've had our v for over a year now and we're still very happy with our decision.

    Same here.

I needed something a little bigger than the standard sized Prius.

I wasn't too happy with the view out the rear window on the liftback. The view out the "v" is totally clear. I think that it is foolish for those who put things and stuffed animals in the rear window to block the rear view to do so.

Welcome to the Red Prius v Three owners club. Love ours too. Only getting 40-42 mpg up here in Omaha, but 47-48 mpg was the norm in non-snow months.

All weather mats, bumper protector and mud flaps are a must have BTW. The cargo net is a 50/50. Seems to be too near to the door at times. All are available here in the Prius Shop for a good price.

I can say previously owning a gen 2 I liked the split window, I rarely had 'high beam' issues, I also miss seeing so low, although all versions of the v have a back up camera to show you what you miss out that lower window.
