Brand new, still in the boxes. Power Stop rear brake disc & pad kit purchased from Rock Auto. See the screen grab for parts listing on their site. See other pic for part numbers on the boxes. These fit 2010 - 2017 Prius v Wagon. (these do not fit a Prius hatchback) I bought these for my '13 wagon, but sold the car before they were needed. I'm cleaning out my shop now, and would like to find a home for them. As you can see from the screed grab, they would be $131 delivered from RA -- twice that if you bought them from the local parts store. $65 obo Local pick-up in Gorham, Maine. (near Portland) For non-local buyers, I'll split the actual shipping cost with you.
His many miles did you expect to the rear rotor/pad change interval to be? I’m hearing some suggest ‘lifetime’.
I changed still legal but worn rear pads at 250k miles. Left the rotors and emergency brake shoes. Primarily because one wheel bearing hub was howling. Changed both with Timkens.
I would have expected them to be "lifetime" given regen braking. That was certainly the case with my '08 that had 180K miles and the brakes were like new. That car was totaled by a rear-end collision. The '13 V needed rear pads and rotors when I bought it at 92K miles -- which really surprised me... so I replaced them. The V also had 180K when I sold it. The pads were fine, but the rotors were looking a little "janky". I sold the car in October. If I had kept it I would have changed the pads/rotors in the spring.
The rear pads on our Prius V . Left side started making noise at 84000. Some rotor damage so I replaced the left side yesterday and will do the right side soon.
