It's nice, but... the Prius is high-tech, so the gray colors look well. Adding wood to it looks a little tacky I think. But that's my opinion only, and as I said, it looks nice. Just not something I would have done.

However, when I worked for a dealership once, I have seen that glue-on plastic wood trim start coming off rather quickly, within a year or so. Especially if you live in a hot environment, it'll melt that glue in no time.

It looks good. I think it would look good with the Barcelona Red exterior.

Looks very nice. I didn't think the wood would work in Prius, but it does. I have a carbon fiber kit in my 2006. Check the thread in my signature to see some pics (page 2 I think). It's not as extensive as the kit here, but it will give some idea.

Wow, it looks like the store is in Brooklyn which means that I can drive there to check it out. I'm not into the wood, but I would love to see what the carbon fiber looks like. And it's in my budget!

For the installation instructions on the site, it uses 3m double-sided backing tape and the parts are about 1/8 thick.

i saw another wood trim kit for the Prius a few months ago, but i didn't like it. Wood trim isn't my thing, but it's lookin pretty nice on you Prius. The only thing I don't like is the trim on the door controls. It looks a bit tacky since only the top part of the trim is covered and the plastic is fully visible on the side. BDTrim should've made it cover the side as well.

My interior is the same as yours. Do you know what the difference is between the simulated CF, and the Real thing, other than price? I wonder which is more durable... For only $234 for the real thing... that seems cheap enough

People call us Prius types "tree huggers". Now you can be a dashboard hugger too. :)

Oh my god. I've seen some horrible pictures of woodtrim posted in the past, but this takes the biscuit. Ewwwwwwww. I think I need to wash my eyes out after seeing that.

PS - any chance we could see some pictures of your home? I'd love to see what your house interior design looks like.

Thanks guys for the comments, I want to do the steering wheels too but I guess they are not selling one for the steering wheel, I am pretty much happy with it right now so far everyone who see it in actual really like it. The color of this is japanese cherry red which I think will look good on Barcelona red prius too...I don not think this will lower down the resale value because its easy to take it off if you don not want it. Its just peel and stick. I haven't seen carbon fiber for the prius. I really want to come to your meet on saturday but we are here in california.
