My Prius gen2 would not pick up when try to speed up. It's very sluggish. Pls what could be the cause?
When I try to accelerate climbing a hill, it will start to decelerate.

The HV (traction) battery is very weak and about to completely die. Repair or replace. TONS of info here on how to do both properly but availability in Africa may be very completely different.

    GOOD LUCK!
