    If you're reading this, that means your ISP has updated their DNS servers and you are looking at PriusChat on the new server. Now it's time to squash all of the bugs that are the inconvenient yet unavoidable part of a server migration.



    Here's my list so far - please reply with whatever items you find wrong:
    1. <strike>mod_rewrite not working - causing friendly urls (like forums.html) to not work</strike>
    2. <strike>Avatars are missing & other uploaded files</strike>
    3. <strike>PC Shop is down with database connection error</strike>
    4. <strike>PC Shop is down with broken images and busted checkout process. (If you want to order something, please email [email protected] with what you want and we'll send you a Google Checkout invoice, or a PayPal invoice)</strike>

    Attached images in messages don't appear (at least for me)

    This is way faster than before. Thanks Danny!

    Sorry, the board administrator has enabled search flood control. Please wait at least 20 seconds before trying again.

    Are we still having bandwidth problems, or was this a result of bug-fixing activity?

    Paul, your avatar is showing up because it's hosted on a separate site from PriusChat.

    The other avatars are coming back, so please don't try to re-upload your own again. I just have to move them from one server to another, and when you're talking about 1GB of data, it will take some time.

    Search flood is still in effect because that's probably the #1 way that bots try to take down site. I might take it down to like 10-15 seconds.

    do not know if it is related to the server switch, but I tried to search on the brake noise TSB, but the attached PDF file will not open. Error message says something along the lines of file not being there...

    Site seems faster, though, and that's good!

    I am unable to upload pics. I have the same error message as others do. In addition, click on the Gallery and it responds "The gallery is down".

    For me to get back on it was necessary to modify the Hosts file as suggested in your note about the need for the ISP to update his DNS data. I also found it necessary to reboot after modifying the Hosts file before that method worked.
