    Hello!

I just came back from a 6 day trip in Colorado (pretty cold!). When I came back, I decided to drive in my 2008 Prius to get a hair cut. No problem. After my hair cut, I went to pick up food. No problem. After I picked up food, my car won't even turn on. Nothing happens other than the power button has a little orange light. Headlights don't turn on, doors don't lock. Nothing. Does this mean my 12v battery died while I was inside? Does this mean my hybrid battery needs replaced?

Excuse my ignorance, but from what I've read online, your 12v battery isn't too expensive, but to replace your hybrid battery, you'd have to pay a couple grand. Any insights/suggestions/help? Thank you!

It's most likely your 12v battery, especially if it's the original one from 2008
