Is there anyone within 3 or so hours of Atlanta who has a charger and discharger that would be willing to let me borrow and/or rent it?

Alternatively, is there anyone within 3 or so hours of Atlanta who wants to join me in buying a charger and discharger? We'd each have to pay $150 for a harness, but half or a third of the $300 for the charger/discharger would be better than paying the full amount.

Good luck on this front. It’s something that we’ve done in the Bay Area with success;).

Hopefully you can find the same(y).

If anyone is reading this in the Seattle / Portland area I'd like to set up a charger sharing service as well... I could also help you with cleaning, data-gathering / diagnosis and harness install.

For that area, @biglew8 has a setup ;).

Might be worth checking with him(y).

For your case, might be worth checking with @TMR-JWAP what he does and has since he’s doing this activity frequently ;).

Not sure if any of these PCers are still looking for such.

@Katrina-o or is it Katrina O | PriusChat
@Bunce (already has a set up in use)

On a side note it looks like I will be up in the greater Puget sound area for awhile, which means I will potentially be missing any local bay area meet ups in Northern California. If anyone would like to get together for a meetup let me know, and I might even be able to host (with limited tools, but HF is not far away).

    I offer this service.
    It's easy.
You give me a deposit for fun purchase price of system plus shipping.

You use it and return it in a reasonable time. (2 weeks?)

I return your deposit, less a reasonable rental fee.
    ($100? plus shipping)

If not returned in the agreed upon time, then it converts to a purchase rather than a rental, and you get to keep it forever.

This keeps people from hanging onto the "rental" indefinitely. Keep me from having to track them down trying to cajole them into returning as we agreed. Too often stuff gets rented out and the renter goes radio silent. Lame.

Sorry, I haven't been on PriusChat in a while. My co worker owns my Prius now. I still have some new parts that I'm trying to sell though.
